Presentation of part of the achievements obtained with the OSPAC tool

Paris, 19-21 September 2023 – Nologin/NOW has participated in the meeting, presenting the achievements related to the OSPAC tool (Operational Services for the Ports And Cities), co-developed by Puertos del Estado and Nologin Consulting.

OSPAC is a one-stop shop for meteorological and oceanic services that provides end-users with all the real-time information and forecasts for the coming days in the coastal area associated with the Port and the City. Its capacity for a customized configuration and management of alerts for exceeding thresholds allows planning maritime activities with greater security, as well as facilitating the environmental management of the coast.

This OSPAC tool has been deployed and tested within the framework of EuroSea in three pilot sites: Barcelona, Taranto (Italy) and Buenaventura (Colombia).
