Álvaro de Pascual Collar and Stefania Ciliberti participate as trainers in the training workshops that Copernicus Marine Service offers for promoting the usage of environmental data from modelling, remote sensing and observations for downstream applications and services. As a contribution to the courses, they present practical cases using QGIS, Python and R.

On October 16th and 18th, 2024, the "Forest Monitoring" webinar will take place. During the event, the instructors will discuss and demonstrate how to use Copernicus products applied to forest assessment. The exercises presented will showcase various aspects of forest management, such as wildfire prevention and the impact of fires on air quality, using QGIS, Python, and R:
