The Horizon Europe SEACLIM Project is being Kick-off

22-23 January, 2025

Toulouse, 22-24 January, 2025 – The 4-years project is a core European initiative for Ocean Climate Prediction in the North East Atlantic and Arctic. 3 European partners from 7 countries work together on:

  • Decadal climate prediction.
  • Climate change projections.
  • Coastal downscaling.
  • Ocean climate indicators.
  • Climate service demonstrators.

NOW Systems will contribute to the project:

  • Running the 1st IBI Decadal Prediction (2025-2035), using a IBI@1/12º configuration.
  • Designing and implementing regional indicators for the IBI region.
  • Proposing new AI coastal downscaling to support the SEACLIM climate service demonstrator focused on Spanish ports.
