Faro de Vigo reports on the use of supercomputing for oceanographic forecasts

Galicia, 2 February, 2025 – The newspaper Faro de Vigo has highlighted in a recent article the collaboration between Now Systems and CESGA (Centro de Supercomputación de Galicia) to improve oceanographic predictions through the use of advanced supercomputing technologies.

As Faro de Vigo article reports, this alliance seeks to optimize the accuracy of marine predictions, which is a key advance for sectors such as fishing and maritime transport. The use of state-of-the-art tools makes it possible to analyze large volumes of data in real time, improving decision-making and reducing risks in the maritime environment.
